Frequently asked questions
Straight answers to the questions plant heads and purchase managers ask us most.
Pyrolysis oil prices move with the furnace oil and crude market. Your landed price depends on order quantity, delivery distance, packaging (drums, IBC or tanker) and any special specification. Typically TPO works out 15–30% cheaper per kcal than furnace oil [to confirm]. Request today's price and we will reply within one working day.
For regular supply our MOQ is one tanker load (about 12 KL). For first-time buyers we can supply a trial order of 5 drums (1,000 litres) so you can test it in your burner. [to confirm]
Within Maharashtra we usually deliver in 2–5 working days after order confirmation. For other states, delivery takes 4–8 working days depending on distance. Scheduled monthly contracts get priority dispatch. [to confirm]
Yes. Pyrolysis oil produced by an authorised unit that holds valid Consent to Operate from the State Pollution Control Board and follows CPCB guidelines can be used as an industrial fuel. Every consignment is supplied with a GST invoice, e-way bill and test report. Buyers should also comply with their own SPCB consent conditions on fuel use.
In most cases, yes. TPO fires in standard furnace oil and LDO burners. Some burners need minor adjustments — nozzle size, preheating temperature (usually 40–60 °C) or air-fuel ratio. Our technical team can guide you or visit your site before the switch-over.
Our tyre pyrolysis oil has a gross calorific value of about 10,000 kcal/kg [to confirm], close to furnace oil. See the full technical specifications.
Store it in closed MS tanks or sealed drums, away from sources of ignition, in a ventilated area. Keep tanks bunded to contain spills, drain settled water periodically, and avoid long-term storage in direct sunlight. Follow the guidance in our MSDS.
Treat it like any fuel oil: wear gloves and goggles, avoid skin contact and inhaling vapours, keep fire extinguishers (foam/DCP) nearby and ensure good ventilation. Our Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) covers handling, first-aid and spill response in detail.
For new customers we work on advance payment or payment against delivery. Regular customers with a contract can request credit terms after a satisfactory trading history. We accept RTGS/NEFT and all invoices include GST. [to confirm]
Yes. Every batch is tested in our in-house lab for density, flash point, water content and other key parameters. A batch test report is shared with each consignment, and third-party (NABL) testing can be arranged on request.
TPO has a characteristic odour, similar to other heavy fuel oils. When the burner is correctly tuned it burns with a clean flame and low smoke. Correct preheating and air settings are the key — our team helps you get them right.
Yes. We hold an Import-Export Code (IEC) from DGFT and can supply export quantities in ISO tanks, flexitanks or drums, subject to destination-country regulations. Share your port and volume for a quote.
